An evolving yogini for nearly a decade, Nadine McNeil’s yoga practicing experience spans various forms of yoga — Ashtanga, Bikram, Kundalini and Sivananda. She is also a writer for Elephant Journal. McNeil has traveled the world from Indonesia to Africa with her home base as Jamaica. “As a global activist, I use my ‘voice’ as a communicator and writer to bring awareness to others of the issues that continue to plague humanity.” We will discus how yoga has lead her down this path of global activism and her future work in the world. Nadine McNeil, Universal Empress, is an evolution agent committed to global transformation. As a global activist, social entrepreneur, writer and yoga instructor she has worked extensively with the United Nations and other organizations across the globe. Currently in Africa on assignment with the UN, following the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti in January 2010, she headed up an initiative that placed over 400 volunteers there working alongside Haitian nationals in remote areas.
