Kamila McDonald
Kamila McDonald is a certified personal trainer, sports nutritionist, and Stanford University graduate whose inspiring journey fuels her mission. After overcoming her own health struggles, she developed a holistic wellness program rooted in the belief that true transformation starts from within.
With a Master’s in Journalism from UC Berkeley, Kamila returned to Jamaica to merge her passions for health and storytelling. She created a plant-based nutrition program paired with high-intensity workouts to drive lasting lifestyle changes. Her work has made her one of the most influential wellness personalities in the Caribbean and beyond, empowering thousands to embrace self-love and long-term well-being.
Kamila’s story is one of resilience—she lost 60 lbs and became the first Miss Jamaica World contestant with dreadlocks, breaking barriers and redefining beauty standards. Through her Kamp Kamila movement, she fosters a community of transformation, offering annual fitness tours and wellness challenges designed for lasting impact.
